Carina Cunha

Carina is a business strategist by day and a consciousness hacker by night.

She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but says she is from the Atlantic Ocean (or Lyra). At age 13, she received a scholarship to study at a science and technology high school in San Francisco and at age 20, she graduated from Columbia University with degrees in Economics and Political Science.

During this time, she had internships in Marketing at Three on the Bund in Shanghai, Insurance Brokerage at Lloyds in London, and Investment Banking with Credit Suisse in New York City.

Throughout high school and university, she moonlighted as a fashion model with Elite Model Management and worked in campaigns for the likes of Vogue and Saks Fifth Avenue. And – because time is abundant – she also became fluent in Mandarin, Spanish and Italian (…now she can hardly speak any of the three).

In 2011, she joined Accenture in New York City and began her career as a Strategist. Some of her past projects include: overseeing the PMO for the divestiture of 13% of Pfizer, auditing the New York Stock Exchange during the “Invade Wall Street” protest, and managing the integration of Bank of America’s Prime Brokerage unit with BNP Paribas operations.

At 23, she had an “early quarter life crisis” (on brand…) and decided to take a break to focus on her passions: psychology, traveling and art.

She began exhibiting her artwork in New York City and moved to whimsical Edinburgh to complete a Pg.D. in Differential Psychology. Upon finishing her studies, Carina worked for the office of JPMorgan’s Private Bank European CEO as an in-house Corporate Strategist before being recruited to launch Crimson Education in Europe.

By combining her experiences in the corporate world with her knowledge of psychology, Carina fell in love with sales and marketing, growing Crimson’s European operations by 350% in her first year as Managing Director.

After stabilizing Crimson’s operations in 2019, Carina embarked on her first solo entrepreneurial venture: Nosy, a wearable IoT device designed to protect against air pollution for users of public transportation.

Nosy gained significant media attention with features in publications such as the BBC, TokyoTV, ABC and Showtime. Carina secured two investment offers on Dragon’s Den UK and won prizes such as the Tech For Good Award alongside several European research accolades.

Due to the increased costs to certify face wearables after the pandemic, Nosy was no longer a viable business and Carina began advising founders that want to have a positive impact in the world.

In 2021 she joined Founders Intelligence Innovation Consulting team and in 2022 she incubated her second company: Satori, a concierge service for legal psychedelic retreats and integration therapy.

In 2023 Carina joined the Kinn, a hub for Conscious Entrepreneurs in Venice, California, where she teaches classes on “Go To Market Strategy” and assists companies in building their sales infrastructure.

During her spare time she is either traveling, creating art or learning about the 4Ps: Physics, Philosophy, Psychology and Psychedelics.

Chiara Burns

The definition of big energy in a little package, Chiara is a startup architect, Class I competitive powerlifter, and ordained metaphysical minister. Her colleagues and clients describe her as sharply insightful, unusually disciplined and organized, warm, playful, and a striking balance of creative and analytical.

After graduating from college a year early, summa cum laude, Chiara moved to Thailand to teach English, further her martial arts education with Muay Thai, and immerse herself in Theravada Buddhism.

Upon returning to the West she started her first business in copywriting, branding, and content strategy. She worked with local businesses, Metacritic sites, and luxury hotel brands like Hilton, Nobu, Marriott, and Montage.

Turns out building a business is a bit like trying to eat a single potato chip. People who really like potato chips want the whole damn bag.

So after some success in building a couple of her own businesses Chiara started helping other people build their dreams — and fell sideways into startup land. There, she built some products that worked; built some that didn’t; built some that made good money; and built some that cost a lot of money.

At one of the low points in the roller coaster that is startup life, she was feeling particularly out of alignment with her purpose.

So she prayed.

She asked God for an opportunity to learn more about building and scaling companies. A month later, a serial entrepreneur synchronistically happened across her YouTube channel about mysticism, and reached out over LinkedIn with a job offer: “come be the Idea Sorceress & Head Storyteller at my venture studio.”

Upon joining Nobody Studios, she built the systems and processes used to intake business ideas, refine them, and pass them off to a company creation pipeline. She also worked with founders to hone their stories and nail down their messaging.

After a year and a half of leading the Studio’s Idea Lab she transitioned into a co-founder role with the Studio, where she is currently working as the lead on a psychedelic education platform.

Now, she’s joined forces with bold and brilliant Carina to bring their wealth of combined knowledge to other mission-driven businesses.

Prior to business and startups, Chiara contentedly dreamed of the life of a starving artist. She attended art school for five years, sang in two college recitals, worked on photoshoots, had her paintings and photos featured in regional art galleries, and once wrote a satirical medieval comedy that was performed at a local theater to a sold-out audience of hundreds.

Chiara has also been a competitive athlete for her entire life: She began Tae Kwon Do at the age of 5, rode Hunter/Jumper horseback for a decade, was a top-seeded track athlete in the state of California, won second place in her first figure competition at Musclecontest in Los Angeles, and currently deadlifts 280 lbs at a petite 5’2”, 125 lbs bodyweight (gunning for Nationals this fall). She’s also a good shot with a pistol — or an axe, depending on the mood.

A businesswoman and athlete by day, Chiara is what some call a “priestess” by night; but perhaps better described as an intuitive, and an ordained metaphysical minister that works with the feminine face of God. She has worked with the Institute of Noetic Sciences, been recruited for mind-matter interaction experiments, trained in remote viewing, studied under intuitive luminaries like Debra Lynne Katz, and most recently has begun to dip her toes into Amazonian plant medicine traditions and somatic modalities.

Believing companies are the ultimate vehicles for change and impact, and bearing the heart of a healer, Chiara’s happy place is where business and spirit intersect.
